Safety Coordinator

We are trying to find an experienced Safety Coordinator to allow us to minimize the potential risk of job-related accidents. You can monitor operations to get rid of hazardous activities. You will probably develop policies to market occupational health and safety (OSH) awareness.

Safety coordinators should be well-versed in any OSH dictations. Your task is going to be aimed at prevention so you should be diligent and analytical. You can possess a passionate eye for detail and also a sensitivity for potential dangers.

The aim is to back up the roll-out of a normal and safe workplace.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recommend provisions to lower safety risks
  • Develop and enforce OSH policies (e.g. accident reporting process)
  • Direct accident investigation procedures
  • Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
  • Organize and conduct OSH training plans
  • Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify issues of safety
  • Intervene in unsafe activities or operations
  • Liaise with and report back to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
  • In-depth information about OSH guidelines and practices
  • Experience of reporting and developing policies
  • Experience of implementing OSH training programs
  • Familiar with MS Office
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Diligent having an analytical mind
  • BSc/Ba in business administration, law or relevant field
