Line Cook

We are searching for a reliable line cook to get ready food to your exact chef’s specifications and to create stations for menu. Line cook duties will include things like assisting the executive and sous chef utilizing their daily tasks. The successful candidate may play an important role in triggering our customer happiness and acquisition goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup and stocking stations with necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the other kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Correct station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Make sure food happens simultaneously, in high-quality and promptly
  • Conform to nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience being a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
  • Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and operations
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Informed about industry’s best practices
  • Culinary school diploma
