Billing Clerk

We are looking for a reliable Billing Clerk to carry out tasks that will help us monitor our revenues. You’ll result in tracking money owed to us by customers, preparing invoices and updating records.

For a billing clerk, you have to be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents. Being accomplished at math and an increased degree of organizational ability are required as a consequence of great amount of economic information. Since you can be using technology to expedite your task, a level of computer knowledge is required.

The target is to contribute to the accurate preparation of bills receivable and safeguard you can actually income.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage account balances to get outstanding debts or some other inconsistencies
  • Collect information had to calculate bills receivable (order amounts, discount rates etc.)
  • Check the details input from the accounting system to make sure accuracy of final bill
  • Issue invoices and bills and sent to customersÕ through various channels (mail, e-mail etc.)
  • Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary
  • Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments etc.) and check out credibility
  • Send reminders for payments and phone customersÕ when assigned
  • Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
  • Respond to your questions and handle complaints from customersÕ regarding bills
  • Directory activity to upper management

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience
  • Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines
  • Familiar with MS Office (especially Excel); Working information about relevant software (e.g. Quickbooks) will likely be appreciated
  • Excellent math ability
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma; further education might be a plus
