Receiving Clerk

We are searching for a responsible Receiving Clerk to receive, inspect and record shipments with raw material or products. You can induce unloading packages and checking their contents to make certain they match the orders.

A receiving clerk needs to have an awesome eye for detail and basic math skills. They must have adequate physical strength to unload shipping together with the clerical skills to update records and telephone suppliers.

The thing is to make certain we receive the correct packages and stock them appropriately.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with procurement staff chatting expected deliveries
  • Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
  • Unload packages from incoming trucks
  • Inspect contents to ensure they undamaged
  • Verify packages in accordance with order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
  • Contact supplier or shipper if an error is identified
  • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
  • Label deliveries and allocate those to their designated place
  • Ensure invoices are signed and purchased satisfactory deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records and support inventory control

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
  • Experience of operating forklifts
  • Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
  • Solid knowledge of safety regulations
  • Basic math and recording abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Good health
  • School diploma
