File Clerk

We are seeking an organized File Clerk to do file management and maintenance. You will organize paperwork based on an efficient filing system and digitalize crucial documents. You may be expected to protect improve files as well as make them easily accessible for colleagues.

Data clerk needs to be organized and now have a critical idea of confidentiality and data protection. The optimal candidate will be skilled in computers and detail-oriented.

The target is usually to preserve the company’s records and manage paperwork effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check incoming paperwork (correspondence, invoices etc.) and then make copies before distributing
  • Sort all papers alphabetically and based on content, dates, significance etc.
  • Create or update records with new files and data
  • Store all paperwork in designated places securing the main documents
  • Enter paperwork into a digital system either by data entry or by making use of optical scanners
  • Manage all requests to get into files and keep logs of borrowed papers
  • Develop an efficient filing system in making updating and retrieving files easier
  • Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and data
  • Monitor inventory of files, paper clips etc. and report shortages

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as file clerk
  • Expertise in filing systems
  • Top notch comprehension of MS Office and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
  • Good command of English both oral and written
  • Dependable which has a respect to confidentiality and policies
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Senior high school degree or equivalent
