Director of Operations

We are trying to find an experienced Director of Operations to tidy up and oversee the daily operations of our own company. You stand out as the one to make certain that our company is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.

The subject of responsibility in this role is rather wide and for that reason requires thorough understanding of various company processes. The right candidate needs to be competent capable to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/she needs to be an outstanding leader who are able to identify the most best ways to run the business.

The target will be to safeguard and augment the efficiency on the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with superior to create decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to guarantee smooth progress
  • Supervise staff from different departments and offer constructive feedback
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures in line with organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
  • Oversee customer service processes and get them organized to reinforce service delivery
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to develop profitability
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
  • Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
  • Evaluate operation by gathering, analysing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and manners
  • Information about industry’s legal laws and regulations
  • Complete understanding of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
  • Working knowledge of web data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Information about MS Office as well as other business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
  • BSc/BA in business or relevant field; MSc/MA would have been a plus
