Hospice Nurse

We are trying to find a Hospice Nurse to supply care and support to terminally ill patients. Your presence and services should bring comfort to the individual that faces the end of their lives and help them reach acceptance and peace of mind.

Because of this role, you have to be a registered nurse who sees the need for hospice care in alleviating pain and suffering. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills can make you a fantastic candidate because of this position. We require that you be knowledgeable in caring for your terminally ill, performing tasks just like administering medication and providing emotional support.

The target would be to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians along with professionals to organize care
  • Make frequent visits to your patient to examine their condition
  • Provide support and comfort reported by individual patient’s needs
  • Use caregivers to organize and execute excellent patient care
  • Aid in administering medication
  • Alleviate sudden symptoms in the disease’s end phase
  • Notify a physician for a patient’s condition when deemed necessary
  • Assist patients and their loved ones with paperwork
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Help relatives cope while using upcoming loss and offer post-mortem support

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as hospice nurse or registered nurse
  • Comprehension of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side-effects
  • Focused on safety precautions and high ethical standards
  • Experienced in English
  • Sound judgement and awareness of detail
  • Excellent communication skills plus a compassionate nature
  • Cool-tempered and patient
  • Emotional/mental stability and stamina
  • Formal nurse training; certification as hospice nurse is an advantage
  • Current CPR certificate
