Bursar

We want a Bursar to oversee the day-to-day operation individualsÕ financial services, like collecting tuition fees and managing account receivable/payable.

Most of your responsibilities include management individuals budget, procurement and payment of supplies and setup individualsÕ financial procedures. You’ll undertake general and financial administrative tasks (e.g. managing employment contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and contacting local authorities.) To be a success in this particular role, you will be able to perform multiple tasks in a very timely and effective manner, under minimum supervision.

Ultimately, it is best to make sure the smooth financial and operational management individuals school, in compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day cash management
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Keep organized books of tuition fees and files of receipts
  • Prepare expense reports regularly
  • Manage annual budget
  • Conduct cost and productivity analyses
  • Review employment contracts and relation to its services
  • Design boost financial procedures
  • Liaise with local authorities and school governors
  • Are accountable to the varsity general on performance and investment/funding opportunities

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bursar
  • Computer literacy (MS Master particular)
  • Strong financial management techniques
  • Expertise in accounting procedures and greatest practices
  • Perception of budget preparation and cash flow management
  • Solid time management techniques with the capability to prioritize work
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations
  • BS degree in Accounting, Business Management or relevant degree
  • Certification in School Administration a plus
