Media Planner

We are trying to find a Media Planner to shape and execute effective advertising campaigns. Your livelihood is going to identify and reach target audiences, and evaluate campaign success.

To achieve in this role, you have to be a skilled communicator and decision-maker who can collaborate well with some other teams. Knowledge of survey along with a willingness to adhere to media trends are essential.

Your goals are going to optimize media marketing campaigns to improve brand awareness and help achieve business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse market data
  • Identify target audiences and understand their behaviour and habits
  • Determine the top media outlet mix for campaigns
  • Optimize ad campaigns reported by geographic exposure, frequency, time spans plus much more
  • Allocate budgets and monitor costs
  • Follow media trends of on the internet offline outlets (TV shows, magazines, blogs, radio programs)
  • Evaluate the achievements media strategies and campaigns

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience like a Media Planner; expertise in digital media is preferred
  • Broad information about media channels
  • Expertise in campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
  • Working information about analytics tools (e.g. GfK MRI, MOAT, Nielsen IMS)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • An analytical mind through an aptitude for statistics and math
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Business Administration or similar field
